Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress best known for her performances in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was the sole son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 she portrayed the lead part in a variety of TV dramas. She was praised for her role in Der Tunnel.
